Refund policy

Returns and refunds

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you're not, you can return books within 7 days of receiving them for a refund of the purchase price.

Pre-orders

You can cancel a pre-order at any time before dispatch for a full refund. Once your book has shipped, the standard 30-day return window applies from the date of delivery.

Conditions of return

Books must be in original, unread condition with no damage to the cover, spine, or pages. Books that have been written in, signed personalised to you, or visibly read cannot be returned unless they arrived damaged.

Damaged or incorrect items

If your book arrives damaged or you receive the wrong title, contact us within 7 days at info@mattformston.com with a photo and your order number. We'll send a replacement at no cost or provide a full refund, including original postage.

How to return a book

Email info@mattformston.com with your order number and the reason for return. We'll respond with a return address. You're responsible for return postage on change-of-mind returns; we cover it for damaged or incorrect items.

Refund processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned book, we'll refund your purchase price to the original payment method within 5 business days. Original postage is non-refundable on change-of-mind returns.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
